The Capital City Figure Skating Club offers membership to U.S. Figure Skating, testing sessions, competitive skater scholarships, sanctioned events and competitions, and information valuable to both skaters and their parents.

Taking a virtual test?
Virtual tests are offered by some US Figure Skating Clubs, such as the Vacaville Figure Skating Club. As part of an agreement between Capital City FSC and Vacaville FSC, Cap City FSC members may Vacaville FSC member rates for tests hosted by Vacaville FSC and vice versa.
You are responsible for meeting all deadlines for registering for tests with other clubs and complying with all testing regulations. To support you with the Virtual Test Placard requirement, we are providing a direct link to the Placard so that you can complete it and bring it to your Virtual Test, as required by USFS. This requirement is in effect as of July, 2025 and applies to all virtual tests, regardless of which club is offering the test. As of November of 2025, virtual tests submitted without the Placard will be rejected by the Test Chair of the club hosting the test.

Membership Levels and Benefits
A. Regular Membership: Any person who is an amateur as defined by the Bylaws and Constitution of USFS and is 18 years of age or more at the beginning of the Membership Year is eligible to be a Regular Member and shall be entitled to vote in Club elections and hold office on the Club’s Board of Directors.
B. Junior Membership: Any person who is an amateur as defined in the Bylaws and Constitution of USFS and is less than 18 years of age at the beginning of the Membership Year is eligible to be a Junior Member. A Junior Member is not entitled to vote in club elections.
C. Associate Member: Any person who is an amateur as defined in the Bylaws and Constitution of USFS and is a member in good standing of another USFS member club is eligible to be an Associate Member of Capital City Figure Skating Club, Inc. An Associate Member is not entitled to vote in Club elections and may be subject to restricted skating privileges as determined by the Board of Directors in its sole discretion.
D. Honorary Membership: Any person who is an amateur as defined in the Bylaws and Constitution of USFS, is a person who has rendered distinctive service to the Club, is an eminent figure skating personality, or warrants consideration for Honorary Membership is entitled to Honorary Membership in the Club. Only the Club’s Board of Directors shall award Honorary Memberships.
